it into a second fastest growing economy; however it still suffers from high levels of poverty,illiteracy,
malnutrition, environmental pollution, and ethnic and religious strife. About 70% live in more than
550,000 villages, and the remainder in more than 200 towns and cities. These thousands of villages
never heard about Jesus Christ.
