INHIM has taken a novel project in Dhulia District, Maharashtra, inhabited by the downtrodden tribes in remote areas. At present , we have an orphanage of 70 children. Hitherto, we have delivered food and garments to the underprivileged people in 300 centers in the tribal areas. We have 220 small worship centers consisting of huts. We intend to construct prayer halls, schools and clinics. We are also planning to supply food and other accessories to the poor and the destitute in hospitals. The activities of this movement are guided by this nobel idea. The charitable work of INHIM is not a mere tool for spreading the gospel, nor a show of compassion for the poor. We are guided by the spiritual vision, which involves profound fellowship with the poor and the downtrodden, which alone is truly Christian. INHIM is a fellowship of those who are bound by faith. We must identify ourselves with the poor and the oppressed. The small ripples of this identification must create in us the high tide of responsibility to help, cooperate and pray for our less fortunate brothers. (Working For The Weaker)
